The Epcot 25th Anniversary

The Epcot has been around for quite some time now. It was Disney's second theme park built at Disney's World Resort in the Orlando area.

I'm not sure if there are any special anniversary parties planned for this anniversary, but the Epcot's development was part of Disneys 25th anniversary celebration itself.

I want to get a photo of me standing in the distance to this beautiful land mark so that it looks like I'm leaning up against it. I've seen similar photo's done like this with the Big Ben Clock and the Eiffel Tower. Might be a difficult task to accomplish with all the other visitors around. I'm going to try though.

I've always heard great things about Epcot and it's on my list of sites to see when I get to Orlando.
Getting a picture with the dome in the background sounds like a good idea. I'd say like the other two places you've mentioned, the Epcot dome is definitely the iconic image of Orlando.

This is also on my list of things to do. I have heard a lot of positive things about Epcot. Pictures are always a part of my experiences. The picture you mention is a great idea as well. I am always looking for a time to remember. :-)

I just had a look at whats in Epcot - Mission: Space looks like a lot of fun!

I guess thats another place to add to my list of things to check out.

Well it won't be long now, were doing our Thanksgiving week in a trip to florida. I hear that Epcot has some of the most brilliant entertainers available. This will definately be a highpoint to any trip to Orlando.
I wonder what are some of the favorite entertainers among the visitors here, that they've seen at Epcot?
I wonder if Wayne Newton ever does Disney. Hes such a wonderful performer. Always in Vegas though I think.

the 25th celebration might see a new Illumination show with complete new music from Don Dorsey. Although some rumors say it would be 2009 before we see this show I have people telling me some testing for the new show is already taking place in Epcot (after opening hours)

That's pretty cool, I was reading about Don Dorsey and it looks like he has more hands on than just in the music part of it. Excellent choice.

Funny though that they are possible cheating everyone this year and not having the celebration until another few years. I guess we will have yet another good reason for a future visit.
