Would you take an expensive camera to the parks, or would you just use a cheap one so that it doesn't matter if it gets damaged / gets wet on ...

Would You Take Expensive Camera?
Would you take an expensive camera to the parks, or would you just use a cheap one so that it doesn't matter if it gets damaged / gets wet on any of the rides / gets stolen?
I've heard a lot of reports of peoples valuables getting stolen at the parks - if you put something down and look away for a secnod it will be gone when you turn back, supposedly ![]() I'd be heartbroken if my good camera got stolen or damaged, so I'm considering not using it in the parks - would I end up regretting that even more if photos on a cheap camera turned out not as good? |

Re: Would You Take Expensive Camera?
It really depends. Obviously, if you go on the water rides, someone must carry it. Usually, I go with my family and the relatives that don't want to go on that ride, they watch on the sidelines and they are the ones that have the camera. If you want to sacrifice quality, you can certainly get a disposable.

Re: Would You Take Expensive Camera?
I would NEVER take a expensive camera. I loose cameras like I do my lighter..... I usually just buy 5 or so of the disposables.

Re: Would You Take Expensive Camera?
I dont own an expensive camera and a disposable works just as well. Its better to be very safer than very sorry in my opinion, and plus takign expensive items means someone always has to wait and not get to go on the attractions.

Re: Would You Take Expensive Camera?
My digital camera is tiny and just fits in my pocket. I take it everywhere. I'm not overly precious with my gear. I bought it to take photos so I'd definitely take it.

It really depends. If you plan on just taking pictures of the kids and not going on many rides, then go right ahead. Also I would say the size would influence that decision. Obviously one that fits into your pocket is a big plus.

If it is a small camera that fits in your pocket, take it, if it's a professional expensive camera, don't do it :P

What did the cast member say? Did you complain at all?
