When Was Your First Visit To Disney

When was your first visit to Disney? Was there a special occasion that led up to you getting to go to Disney.

I remember back around 1972 before we went to florida, the first thing to accomplish for me and my sister was we both had to learn how to swim. We finally managed this task and got to go.

We went as part of a family vacation with two carloads of us. I winded up getting severely sunburned early on and had to spend most of my time indoors.

I went to Walt Disney World for the first time in December 2001. It was really quiet as many people stopped travelling after 9/11. We stopped at three hotels. The two wyndhams and the Coronado Springs Resort.

We had a great time, the parks were really quiet so no queues. The weather was in the high twenties all the time as well (unseasonally high for that time of the year).

I went to the Paris one when I was still at school, but it was only really for a day, and I got heat stroke so I didn't have a chance to enjoy it at all. I spent over half the day in the first aiders section feeling ill and thinking the place was far too noisy for my poor head

Now that I'm an adult, I want the 'full' experience - and I'll be sure to keep myself hydrated this time!

Orlando knocks the socks off Disneyland Paris.

I've heard a few people say that, but hey, I was a kid when I went to Paris - schools can't go charging the amount it costs to go to Orlando for an excursions day! At least not in the part of the country I come from - you were considered 'rich' if you went on the trip to Paris!

To be honest I really don't remember much about Paris, as I said I was ill for most of it.

I think a trip to any Disney park would be a generous adventure given from school. I do remember the days of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches wrapped in plastic and a field trip to the local playground type park. That is no where near the fun you would have at Disney. But hey. Fun is fun. Can't knock it when you are young and full of energy.

My first time to Disney was when I was five.... that would be about 25 years ago...... It was WAY different than it is now. I actually liked it better then.

I went roughly 10 years ago. It wasn't really a special occasion. My family and I go on a trip every Christmas break. We just happened to go to Disney then.

it was when I was a very young kid, like 20 years ago, I still remember some of the rides, but I'd like to go back in there

Yea, I want to visit Disney World than anywhere but I have yet to visit any Disney theme parks we plan on going within the next year or two.
