Sharing Orlando Villas With Friends/Family?
Has anyone here ever shared a Villa with friends or family to save money?
I was thinking of doing this - many of the villas have three or four bedrooms and bathrooms, so there's plenty of room. The thing that concerns me is that we would be sick of our fellow residents after the first couple of days. Does sharing cramp your style, or can it be a great way to save some money? |

I guess it's all down to how well you like and get on with them...
If your travelling with family getting a four or five bedroom Orlando villa is obviously great value option. I mean, you can get a villa for $120-$150 a night. A five bed villa will comfortably sleep 10. So you can't lose money wise. |

I've travelled with friends before - its not so bad if you are staying in different rooms and not in eachothers pockets all the time.
I've never had to 'live' with them before, so I'm really not sure how it would work out. Especially after a day of squabbling over which attractions to go to first :-p |

I don't think I will take this opportunity. I would rather stay at a resort and have my own space to where I can control it completely. I don't think I would want to stay with friends in the same villa as them, I just couldn't see this happening.

Re: Sharing Orlando Villas With Friends/Family?
You're probably right Hypnotique. For our first trip it will just be the two of us going, we were thinking that future trips would be easier on the pocket if a group of us went and shared the cost by getting a Villa instead of a hotel.
After reading my email this morning and seeing a ton of group messages with them bickering about a trip to Amsterdam they're thinking of taking, I don't think I'll bother. It might delay the second trip a few more months, but it will probably be worth it to preserve our sanity! |
