One attraction that does not seem to be mentioned is NASA over in Cape Canaveral, its a great place to take the kids, lots of fun and highly educational as well

Your absolutely right. It also gives you a great oppetunity to see some real Florida / America not through mickey tinted glasses. Its about 40 mins drive across the state to the coast and most of the drive is through their woodland as i remember doing NOT 55 but good ol 70 mph. ps the best place so im told to see a launch from is cocoa beach
