Safety Of Rides at Orlando Disney Theme Parks
I was wondering about the safety of the rides and how does Orlando Walt Disney Theme Parks rank in comparison to accidents to other theme parks in the world.
How many ride accidents do they have on average in a year? What are their inspection practices and is it likely that some of the rides will be closed during your visit because of inspections and maintenance. Is there a published list available to let visitors know when certain rides are going to be closed for maintenance before you actually make your trip plans? |

Re: Safety Of Rides at Orlando Disney Theme Parks
I'm not sure about the safety records, although I'm willing to bet that they have a good record - after all they have been doing this for decades!
I found a list of rides that are open / closed because of the season / closed for refurbishment / maintainance: Disney Rehabs and closings schedule at Disney World, Disney Rehabs Hope that is of some use. |

Re: Safety Of Rides at Orlando Disney Theme Parks
I would think if you pulled up the safety record, it would be within the top, if not, number one. I have seen a lot of companies, especially carnivals, that had rides that were running and not being in the safest condition possible. However, when it comes to amusement parks, they are the safest. Especially since they're not have to set-up and tear down the rides on a regular basis like traveling carnivals have to do.

I've been there roughly 5 times and never seen an incident. They seem to always have a decent staff. I'd say their record is nearly spotless.
