Disney World Height Requirements and Restrictions

Understandably, Disney needs to protect its visitors to the Walt Disney World theme parks. One of the ways it does this is by implementing a minimum height restriction for some of it’s attractions. The height restrictions are strictly adhered to at all the parks, so don’t argue with the ride operators.

Magic Kingdom

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Minimum height of 40”
Goofy’s Barnstormer Minimum height of 35” Minimum age of three years to ride this attraction.
Space Mountain Minimum height of 44” Must be accompanied by an adult if child is under seven years of age.
Splash Mountain Minimum height of 40”
Tomorrowland Speedway Minimum height of 52” Visitors under 52” can ride as a passenger in the cars.
Stitch’s Great Escape Minimum height of 40”

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith Minimum height of 48”
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Minimum height of 40”
Star Tours Minimum height of 40”

Epcot

Soarin’ Minimum height of 40”

Animal Kingdom
